Broadway Malyan delivered the concept master plan for the '10×10' project in Iraq, involving a 17km² extension of Sadr City, Baghdad, and the creation of New Sadr City. The master plan is a major milestone in the realisation of the project, named 10×10 because of its predicted $10 billion dollar value and ten-year delivery time frame and, as one of the largest in Iraq, is central to reconstruction in the country.
Modelled and issued by the architects in SketchUp, the Callprint team prepared the data for colour 3D printing. Dividing the two models into four tiles, each, measuring 500mm x 500mm. The models were 3D printed on Callprint's ZPrinter 650.
